Chances
are, if you're reading this, you're a proponent of
freedom. You've probably read your fair share of different
philosophies on the matter, each of which presents
its own brand of freedom. In thinking through these,
you've come to agree that many of the ideas are valid,
particularly the idea that to achieve the things you
want in life, you need to operate as freely as possible.
But to achieve freedom, you realize, requires first
a realization that you are, by nature, free; and,
secondly, identifying and carrying out certain means
by which to reduce restraints on your life and affairs
from tyrannical institutions.
The
FWO Business Forum is a place to network with others
who have developed a wide range of means to reduce
coercive restraints on their lives and affairs. (FWO
= Free World Order; in contrast to New World Order.)
But
first let's consider what usually happens to a typical
freedom lover:
Suppose that a hypothetical freedom lover works in
a private-sector company, and the result is that 40%
of his/her resources are effectively being employed
to support a tyrant-system through paying taxes, providing
information, etc. Suppose further that this freedom
lover applies 50% of his/her resources toward personal
survival and well-being, and that he/she applies the
remaining 10% to the promotion and expansion of freedom.
The net effect of the above is that our hypothetical
freedom lover effectively spends four times the resources
on tyrant support than he/she spends on freedom expansion.
So who wins?
Another
way of looking at it is that the tyrant-system effectively
owns 40% of our hypothetical freedom lover's mind,
body, and other resources.
Our
hypothetical freedom lover might reason as follows:
1) The only way I can pursue my career and earn a
decent living, is to work for a private-sector company.
2) If I try to beat the tax man, chances are I'll
to go jail.
"It
is hard to fight an enemy who has outposts in
your head."
-- Sally Kempton
"The
most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor
is the mind of the oppressed."
-- Steve Biko
"L'homme
vivant sous la servitude des lois prend sans s'en
douter une âme d'esclave."
"The man who lives under the servitude of laws
assumes, without suspecting it, the soul of a
slave."
--
Georges Ripert, Le Déclin du Droit, Paris, Librairie
Générale de Droit et de Jurisprudence, 1949, p.
94
"Oh,
it is terrible! Terrible! You are not free. Your
own betrayer is inside of you and sells you out.
You have to obey like a slave."
-- Saul Bellow,
Herzog
Now
suppose our hypothetical freedom lover were to set
up a sex site on the Internet in his/her spare time,
possibly utilizing an offshore company in a tax haven.
Suppose that after a year or so, the sex site pays
as much as the private-sector salary, and the freedom
lover exits his/her private-sector job and tax system
(as far as possible). Because some taxes are still
being paid when buying gas, clothes, etc., the ratios
now become: 5%
tyrant support, 80%
personal survival and well-being, and 15%
freedom promotion and expansion.
Now
who wins?
I'm
using the sex site as an example. There are many other
ways to make money on the Internet and shift at least
some economic resources and activities away from supporting
tyrants. I use the term "Economic Means to Freedom"
to describe this shift of economic resources and activities
from the private sector (generally involved in a great
deal of tyrant support through paying taxes, providing
information, etc.) to the real free-enterprise sector
("underground economy").
At
least two things should stand out in the above example:
1)
Every freedom lover has access to enormous potential
resources in the world:
a)
The brains of freedom lovers and their knowledge.
b)
The material assets owned and/or controlled by
freedom lovers.
c)
The time and energy freedom lovers have available
to apply their resources to expand freedom.
2)
To the extent a freedom lover utilizes these and other
resources available to him/her will determine the
degree of freedom enjoyed (or restraints suffered).
In other words, each freedom lover must strive for
optimum utilization of freedom resources available
to him/her.
To
this end, therefore, we've set up a private forum
called the FWO Business Forum where freedom-oriented
business people can network, discuss, and receive
support regarding the specific details of how to shift
economic resources and activities away from tyrant
support with minimal risk. From a practical standpoint,
this forum will facilitate freedom lovers in bridging
the link between ideas and action.
For
some people, operating "underground" may be inappropriate
and too risky. For those who insist on doing everything
"by the book" so as to minimize risk, we suggest you
consider the "offshore game."
The
FWO Business Forum is not only for business people
who want to operate with greater freedom and less
taxation, but is also a place for individuals who
want to become financially independent, while reducing
the degree to which they support tyrant-systems to
the absolute minimum. To ensure the highest quality
of message content, the FWO Business Forum is a private
forum, not open to the general public. There are no
fees or charges involved; participation is free!
If
you're interested in joining, please contact me at
f-prime@buildfreedom.com with a brief
biography (use those of the participants above as
examples). If necessary, use a name and e-mail address
that won't compromise your privacy. Please let me
know if I may use your name and biography to help
promote the forum.

obtain financial and personal freedom (thanks greatly
to your BuildFreedom.com site). In the 1970s spent
much time travelling the Far East seeking enlightenment.
Ran into difficulties - mainly loss of freedom of
thought due to what I perceived to be harmless eastern
new age philosophies. Later discovered many of these
were really tools of global supremacist groups hiding
behind the wholesome ideals and practices of organic
gardening, health improvement methods, meditation
and more. Have spent the last 5 years writing up my
experiences re these hidden supremacist groups and
their plans for us all. Published articles as well
as a free e-copy of my book All

Deeply interested in encryption, remailers, purely
anonymous e-cash systems, all areas of internet privacy
enhancements. I know how to use PGP and sometimes
I have success creating pseudonym addresses. I think
all the ingredients for a purely anonymous-transaction
economy are available. It just takes some good designers
to combine the ingredients in the right way! Interested
in learning about offshore trusts and pure trusts.
Years ago, I read "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree
World," as well as Rand's, Lysander Spooner's, and
almost all the books Harry Browne referenced in the
bibliography. I discovered I can unsubscribe from
government easily in many ways: I remain unmarried,
I don't vote, I don't own many material possessions.
However, I still pay over 40% of my income to the
terrocrats. So that's why I am interested in learning
more about freedom strategies!

Some experience in CGI programming with Perl under
